General Fees

General fees cover a bunch of administrative services, plus academic support services, graduation related activities, document processing and other services that might need extra institutional resources, beyond the standard tuition fees.

Jefferson Business School is not responsible for any costs students may incur such as travel or accommodation, insurance, visa processing, medical expenses, taxes, books and any other personal expenses that happen during their studies.

General fees can be revised from time to time based on administrative and operational requirements.

Attending the Graduation Ceremony
Attending the graduation ceremony on JIU campus in Geneva or at another JIU or partner campus:

Fee includes costs related to gowns, food, degree/diploma, caps, etc.
Sending the Final Degree
Sending the final degree/diploma through DHL:
Cost: from 70 EUR onwards (depends on the destination)
DBA Defense
DBA defense:
Cost: 150 EUR
Includes organisation of the defense, jury members fee, etc.
Bachelor and Master Final Thesis & Defense
Bachelor and Master final thesis and defense:
Cost: 400 EUR
Includes the allocation of the final thesis supervisor, supervision process and the final defense of the thesis.
Certification by Public Notary
Certification of a public notary in Switzerland:
Cost: 200 EUR

Down Payment
30% down payment is required from Geneva campus students as an initial payment.
Apostille
Apostille in Switzerland:

Final fee depends on the number of pages to be apostilled. Apostille is an option.
Re-Enrolment
Reenrolment in courses:
Cost: 50 EUR per 1 ECTS (The final price is calculated in regard to the number of ECTS points of each course at the time of reenrolment)
Includes reenrolment in courses after the fourth attempt to pass the final exam (Commission Exam) has failed.
Extension Fee
Extension fee:
Cost: in line with the Procedure on extension of studying period in the student contract
Fee includes costs related to prolongation of the study period beyond the regular program duration.
Reissuance of Diploma
Reissuance of the diploma
Cost: 100 EUR for one reissued diploma
